The all-round bench microscope: 7-inch screen, 1080p, LED base

The ViewPro 7 is the size most benches settle on: the 7-inch IPS screen is large enough to share the view with a second person, and the 178-degree viewing angle keeps the image readable from the side. Eight LEDs around the lens handle surface work such as coins and solder joints, while the illuminated base supports slides and thin specimens. Use the included remote to capture photos without touching the stand and shaking the image. Stills and video record to microSD, and a USB connection mirrors the view to a Windows or Mac computer for measurement software and larger displays.

For this model the published figure is: 50x–1200x (optical working range with digital zoom; digital zoom enlarges the image and does not add resolution).
Two different things get called “magnification”. Optical magnification is produced by the lens system and carries real detail. Digital zoom enlarges the captured image on screen — the picture gets bigger, but no new detail appears, because the sensor captured a fixed amount of information. MicroHub publishes the derivation with every figure; where a headline number mixes the two, the optical range is the one to compare between models.

The working distance is the clearance between lens and subject — the space your hands and tools actually get. Screen and output decide who can watch: a built-in LCD for one pair of eyes at the bench, HDMI for a room, USB for capture and measurement.
Works with Windows and Mac as a standard USB camera; remote pairs out of the box.
Power: Rechargeable battery (approx. 2 hrs) or USB power.
Your work is coin collecting, electronics repair & pcb soldering, hobby & craft inspection, and the specifications above — magnification, working distance, outputs and lighting — fit how you actually work. It is a beginner-level instrument at a market-rate price of $79.99.

50x–1200x (optical working range with digital zoom; digital zoom enlarges the image and does not add resolution). The digital portion enlarges the captured image; it does not add resolution — the sensor and the optics decide the real detail.
